About the Author
Lynne Marie Taylor’s love of books began early. An avid reader, she grew up happily losing herself in stories and went on to build a career dedicated to books, libraries and encouraging a love of reading. She believes passionately in the role libraries play in opening up new worlds for children, families and communities, and continues to support their work today.
Lynne gained a Master’s in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University in 2018 and writes historical crime fiction inspired by her love of the genre and her fascination with Victorian fiction. Born in Malta, she has drawn on the island’s remarkable history and character for her Detective Inspector McQueen series. With its Edinburgh-born detective investigating crime against the backdrop of Malta, the series begins with Death in Valletta, continues with Death on the Island, and will soon feature Death in Exile.
Lynne lives in Corsham, Wiltshire.
